Fishermans Bay

Fishermans Bay:

Depth 3 meter to 10 meters. The shallow side of the reef lies in the south part of the bay starting from Linley Point and getting deeper in the north part of the reef. Easy access to the reef is either from near the boat ramp and the rocks around the point or just swim from the beach towards the pylon markers.
Mind the jet ski and the boat traffic and always take a dive flag with you.
The dive is easy and pleasant as the reef gradually gets deeper. You can see big variety of fish species: Leatherjacet, Morwong, Flathead, Goatfish, Starfish, Squid, Stingray and the incredible Cuttlefish and Port Jackson shark. Schools of Australian Salmon, Trevally, Tailor, Snapper and Snook occasionally pass by. You may even have the chance to interact with Dolphins, as they come really close around the reef searching for meal.
