Coral Cove

Coral Cove:

The dive site is well protected from N NW winds. The shallows of the reef are covered with seaweed forest and sandy patches. Good place to look for leatherjacket, crabs and flathead. Look for shortheaded worm eel. Usually active during the night, the nocturnal creature is a rare sight in the day but occasionally can be spotted hiding in the seaweed. Port Jackson shark and stingrays also can be seen in the area. Venturing further into the reef the landscape changes from seaweed forest to car-sized boulders covered in colorful sponges. The dive site is suitable for snorkeling and diving. The small dog-friendly beach is a good spot to spend the day after the dive relaxing and sharing the experience with family and friends.

Access and Car Park :

There are couple dirt-car parks near the beach and plenty of car park spots in the nearby streets. There are toilet and bathroom facilities as well.
