Pelican Point, Daveys bay
Pelican Point:
Pelican point is a great and easy destination for divers of all levels and snorkelers. The dive site is not well protected from winds and swell, so the visibility can be quite poor.
Make sure that you have your float and dive flag with you, as it is a favorite fishing site, the boat and jet ski traffic can be intense.
The marine life is mostly represented by small fish like zebrafish, magpie, goatfish, leatherjacket, pinkies, blue troth wrass and heaps of starfish. Look for stingrays and flatheads relaxing half buried in the sand. Sometimes schools of salmon or snook can be seen passing by, as well as squids and the incredible cuttlefish.

Diving Conditions :
The dive site can be affected by strong winds. Because of the sandy bottom the visibility can be poor if West or South winds are blowing or after rain.

Access:
There is a small car park at Daveys Bay Rd and another at Jacksons Rd.
